Kaydence Day
Kaydence Day is a singer/songwriter, arranger, and musician hailing from South Carolina. With inspiration from music giants like Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, and Michael Jackson, Kaydence has created her own timeless sound that fuses R&B with Hip-Hop, Jazz, and even Pop elements.
Kaydence academically studied classical music from the time she was 9 to when she was in college, having played upright bass and a little cello. Learning formal music techniques allowed her to transfer the knowledge from her instruments to her voice.
Her music has been described by listeners as “warm”, “vibey”, even something that has brought people solace. Her debut album “The Recliner” was released in September of 2020, and can be streamed on all major music platforms. With this project being described by Kaydence as something that is supposed to be “laid back” Kaydence also stated her goal with her music being “Just wanting someone to feel better after listening to my song.”
Since releasing her album, Kaydence has been performing in various cities, she has released her first music video for her single “Get Away”, her song “Cozy” has been featured on a film, her song "Real Deal" was nominated for a music award, and her music has been streamed on a global level. Most recently, Kaydence has become a Sofar Sounds artist, and has been touring in various cities as she continues to work on new music to be released soon.
